This extension literally doubled the size of the existing house. Planning restrictions meant that the extension needed to look separate to the house in some way, so pitched roof sections above the first floor windows and a slight step back from the original property were added but other than that the extension blended in perfectly due to our care and attention when matching up materials and windows. A single storey sun room attached to the two storey extensions added another dynamic to an already amazing development to the property.

Wisbech Road, Littleport

A bungalow in our local area was restricted by old outbuildings, a badly built conservatory and a kitchen that was housed in a poorly insulated extension. We demolished all of these area and built one large extension that incorporated a new bathroom, shower room, kitchen and utility room.

Burwell Road, Exning

A large front extension created an extra two bedrooms, a shower room, an entrance hall and a study. The work was carried out with materials that matched the existing property so that the frontage remained in keeping with the rest of the estate.

Deacons Lane, Ely

This project actually compromised of three extensions to one property. The main two storey brick extension on the back created an extra bedroom upstairs and a dining room downstairs. A timber framed single storey on the back of that made from french oak and large glazed units created a stunning sun room that looked out down the garden. Finally a side extension created a new landing and access to the new areas on the first floor, which was kept light with various glazing installations. A new shower room or rear boot room in the ground floor of the side extension  meant the property went from a small three bedroom house, to a large four bedroom family home with several new living spaces. Most importantly on this project we used re-claimed bricks and sleet roofing materials as well as bespoke timber sash windows and doors to keep the extensions in keeping with the property as it was in a conservation area.
